Engineers working for life.
The Indigenous Australian Engineering Summer School is an annual event, established in 1998 by Engineering Aid Australia (a non profit organisation). This event is held annually for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from around the country. It is a seven day live-in Summer School, featuring a combination of engineering and social activities that will give you a taste of engineering studies and careers.
2010 has been an exciting year as it marked the first time that Engineering Aid Australia held two summer schools! The first IAESS commenced on 10 January at Curtin University of Technology in Perth, WA. Further information can be found on the Curtin University of Technology website.
The second 2010 IAESS was hosted by the University of New South Wales in January 2010. Further information on the 2010 Indigenous Australian Engineering Summer School is available on the University of New South Wales website.
